Life is facilitated by blood. In simpler words, blood is a gift that can create or save a life - gift of life ! The lifesaving care starts when one person makes a move towards well being by making a generous donation.

Blood which is donated can be directly used for transfusion, and can yield a variety of blood products, including red cells, platelets and plasma. There is a constant need since everyday, in just a couple of seconds, there is someone somewhere who needs blood.

Blood for patients with health disorders which need regular transfusion, and for those undergoing blood cancer treatment, thalassemia, hemophilia etc., need a consistent amount made available in any condition. To help the needy ones in case of an emergency there is a need for constant blood supply. This can be fulfilled if a sufficient number of blood donors willingly volunteer to ensure that the right amount of blood is made available whenever and wherever needed.

Keeping in mind all the problems that arise while searching for blood units and blood donors, this website has been developed with all the necessities consolidated at a common place.
